Pobl Glyndwr will be aware that we have provisionally launched G660 recently with setting up of a new Hanes Glyndwr exhibition at Cefn Caer:
The next stage in advance G660 launch is with our bringing out extra large Baneri Glyndwr 5' X 8' to impress and impact hopefully across the land not least in those areas where Hanes Glyndwr events are of major importance and that is just about everywhere but lets see all 'Glyndwr Towns' local authourities flying these flags as well as having them placed at Glyndwr Battle sites and as far as possible all along the A470 which we have designated as Prif Fford Yywysog Owain IV aka 'Ffordd Glyndwr 1354' in our promotion of G660 during 2014. Individuals of course may put up flag poles on their properties to fly this extra large flag plus it may be used as a two pole banner at events, not just those associated with Glyndwr Commemorations but also at other events and on campaign protests and parades. Whatever, you may have your own ideas so lets all go for it and make the coming three year commemorative programme, this programme in the main will be based on a simple revisting of Embassy Glyndwr events and activities over the last decade plus but this time we want Community G660 Groups to motivate and organise events and various other activities as placing up of plaques and advancing a local Theatre Glyndwr and Teyrnas Glyndwr Living History Reenactment activity. Information for all this is on our blogs or where not, simply request information noting that I shall be particularly concerned with Theatre Glyndwr and Visions Glyndwr Films whilst Gethin is going to work on advancing Teyrnas Glyndwr considering taking an Henry Gwyn Free Company to the Azincourt Commemoration to be on the French side. Gethin is also working on a number of major publication projects with a wide veriaty of Hanes Glyndwr associations.
The only events nationally that Embassy Glyndwr will be particularly involved with is the three annual events on 28 May, 21 Mehefin and 16 Medi other than these we shall be:
* Associating 2014 with the launch of a more vigourous 'YMGYRCH SOFRANIAETH CYMRU.
* A major Gwent and Monmouth Commemoration in 2015 as counter to the Cambro Brit Taff Azincourt Commemorations that will no doubt take place with the stuffing of Shakespeare down our throat. To further counter this we hope to have by 2015 both Teyrnas and Theatre Glyndwr up and running so if you have any interests and skills in this area then please we need you to be involved, so get in touch.
* Then the finale requires an extra special effort re Glyndwr Returns 2016 Initiative, this will be in the restoration of a 'Senedd Glyndwr' Machynleth. Yes, you read that right, we shall attempt to establish a true provisional Free Wales Parliament.
Now how does all that grab you? Want to see it all happen then just decide to committ to Achos Glyndwr, all this will be more will fully discussed and developed with the aid of 'Glyndwr Commissioners' we are seeking to appoint and of course seeking ideas from Pobl Glyndwr and anyone who might have something good and useful to this 'Glyndwr Table'.
Further information in due course, suffice to say consider the above and material in our Glyndwr blogs and let us know if your interested in giving aid and assisting in any of the above areas. keep in with this blog as more and more info will be published over the months ahead. don't miss out and note a meeting will be hels later this year to personally discuss much of the above with those who are 'Juratus Oweyn'. One last thing, other than flags other G660 and beyond Souvenirs weill be produced, please only buy from the E.G supported concerns as they will donate to E.G. Funds where others that have arrived on the Nationalist Scene are perhaps 'Opportunists' out for personal profit and are not supportive of Embassy Glyndwr and it's Gwaith Glyndwr.

The Cadw Glyndwr Interpretative Plan which has been in costly consultancy preparation for some time as both a tribute to Owain Glyndwr and as a European Union Tourism Initiative Funded project fails to deliver and falls down in a number of areas. For the moment setting aside external tourism issues with which I have no particular objection, if that's what it takes to get funding and attention of our 'Welsh Heritage Establishment' to devote time and effort on our national hero. However, whilst the Cadw plan in fine historical detail deserves appreciation unfortunatly then in substance and presentation there is much to be concerned with, not least in following key areas:
.
1: The fact that this plan in the main confines itself to what may be described as representing medieval 'pura Walliae' not only does not tell the complete Owain Glyndwr story but reduces him to being a 'regional hero' and not a national hero. I suspect this as having potential to denie many Welsh people of 'marcher Walliae' of their history and thus continue to advance their anglicisation. This is not a pan Wales telling of the Owain Glyndwr story which also robs the tourism business of much of Wales as having a part to play in the proposed half baked tourism Initiative. Further, it denies many involved to date in Medieval Living history in many parts of this ignored Wales an opportunity to be mor fully involved in telling of the full national Owain Glyndwr story which just cannot be told unless it is on basis of being a Pan Wales Initiative.

Pobl Glyndŵr will be aware that we 'provisionally' launched G660 recently with the setting up of a new 'Hanes Glyndŵr' exhibition at Cefn Caer:
The next stage in our 'G660' launch', is our bringing out of extra large Baneri Glyndŵr 5' X 8' to impress and impact hopefully across the land and especially so in those areas where 'Hanes Glyndŵr' events are of major importance - and that is just about everywhere in Cymru. As well as individual residences and businesses, lets see all the local authorities of 'Glyndŵr Towns' flying these - flags as well as having them placed at Glyndŵr Battle sites and, as far as possible, all along the A470 which we have designated as 'Prif Ffordd Tywysog Owain IV aka 'Ffordd Glyndŵr 1354' in our promotion of G660 during 2014. Whatever, you may have your own ideas so lets all go for it and make the coming three year commemorative programme one that will not be forgotten.
The programme in the main will be based on a simple revisting of Embassy Glyndŵr events and activities over the last decade plus, but this time, it would be great to see the forming of Community G660 Groups to motivate and organise events and various other activities such as the placing up of plaques and advancing a local Theatre Glyndŵr and Teyrnas Glyndŵr Living History Reenactment activity in their communities. Information and ideas in regards to all this can be found on our blogs or, community groups are welcome to contact us to simply request information noting that I shall be particularly concerned with Theatre Glyndŵr and Visions Glyndŵr Films whilst Gethin is going to work on advancing Teyrnas Glyndŵr and is considering taking an Henry Gwyn Free Company to the Azincourt Commemoration to be on the French side. Last - but not least: Apart from the extra large flags. Other unigue G660 (and beyond) souvenirs are in the pipeline so please, support our work by only buying from E.G. supported concerns as they will donate to E.G. Funds where others that have arrived on the Nationalist scene are, perhaps, 'Opportunists' out for personal profit and are not supportive of Embassy Glyndŵr and it's Gwaith Glyndŵr. Remember, the sale of souveniers is the only revenue that E.G. recieves to enable it to carry out its valuable and necessary Glyndŵr associated work.
